After his grandfather began showing signs of Parkinson’s disease in 2009, Francis’ family sought the help of an in-home care agency. “It was an incredible feeling to find a caregiver that could not only assist my grandfather but also comfort everyone involved. Choosing to launch a home care agency stemmed, in part, from watching his mother deal with her aging mother, who lived 700 miles apart from each other. She didn’t have an alternative she could trust that was affordable. For his grandmother, moving in with her daughter, which meant leaving her own home, was the only solution. “It created stress on both of them. If she had had the option of a company like ours, it would have provided peace of mind.”
